Our Work
CWI has been instrumental in building Alberta's telecommunications network by employing trenchless methods (like horizontal directional drilling) to create pathways for cables. Excavating trenches, laying protective conduits and backfilling to restore the surface. For cabinets and vaults – the housings for crucial equipment and connection points – CWI would prepare sites and fully install and secure these structures, ensuring proper grounding and environmental controls. Finally, their teams would manage the delicate process of cable pulling, using specialized equipment and lubricants to draw fiber optic or copper cables through the installed conduits into the cabinets and vaults, where they would be terminated and connected. Our work aims for minimal environmental disruption and long-lasting, reliable infrastructure
